So, in this section of the site, I will be taking a closer look at a variety of spices and whole foods. I am a firm believer that the human body is designed to heal itself, that we must take care of our bodies in a way that is conducive to living a healthy and sustainable life. In order to do that, we must know what we are consuming and the effects these foods have on our day to day functions. As a child, I watched my grandmother boil up all sorts of herbs and spices when we were ill, it seemed she had a magic potion for almost any ailment. These healing attributes of certain foods and spices interest me a great deal.  Researching the nutritional and health benefits of foods, is the key to us understanding, and taking charge of our own bodies.
